Global Problem Climate Change
Climate change means change in atmosphere, change in soil, change in temperature. In which the temperature of the earth is increasing every year. Because the amount of methane and carbon dioxide i.e. green house gas is gradually increasing. Due to which the atmosphere is seen chaotic in every part of the earth. As a result, unseasonal heavy rains in some places and droughts, floods, tsunamis, burning of forests, rise in sea level are increasing in some places. According to the law of nature, if we harm any part of nature, then the whole nature starts to disintegrate. And now it has gradually become today in the future.
Humans are responsible for almost all of the global warming over the past 50 years. Due to the above mentioned activities, greenhouse gases are warming the world faster than previous times at least in the last 15 years.
Due to climate change, difficulties are gradually increasing in everyone's life. The catastrophe of climate change is increasing because the carbon absorbing forests are being destroyed.
Everyone knows that the continent of Antarctica is made of ice, but it is now slowly melting. Big glaciers are collapsing. So gradually the water level of the sea is increasing. Just last month, a 96 km section of Antarctica broke away from the continent. The reason is the same, "Global Warming". As a result, an increase of 28.6 cm in sea level has been recorded from 2005 to 2023. If this continues, then in the coming years, the big cities near the sea will be submerged.
At present, the temperature of some cities is sometimes seen above 50 degrees, but if this issue is not taken seriously, according to the scientists and geologist, the temperature of most of the mega cities will go above 50 degrees in the next ten years. must have missed Which will be more deadly for the time to come. Considering this serious issue, scientists are making a lot of efforts, in which according to a mission, they are planning to reduce the temperature by 2 degrees according to the current temperature by 2030.
If there is failure to do so, then we have to be ready to face the terrible events of climate change till 2050. Such as increase in the level of extreme weather intensity i.e. sudden rise and fall in temperature, acid rain, uncertainty of seasons, tsunami, landslides. Flood-like conditions may develop.
A lot of changes have been seen in the current land compared to the previous land. As surface temperature increases, soil drying increases. Due to which the water in the soil is absorbed. And if there is water, it is not drinkable. So fertility starts to decline. Sometimes dry crops also result in wildfires due to increased heat and heatwaves.
The first source of global warming is clearly the large-scale use of fuels, as carbon dioxide is produced by burning coal, oil and gas. Nearly 60% of the greenhouse gas is carbon dioxide, but only 65% is absorbed by forests. The remaining carbon dioxide remains in the air. And there is disintegration due to sunlight. But does not perish. And this proportion is increasing day by day.
Artificial rains are being planned in places where there is no or less rain. But it does not result in 100% success. Some time ago we saw in the news how Dubai axed itself in the foot by raining artificial rain. He turned his own city into water. Because according to the new technology, where and how much rain is not in our hands.
Since the 1970s, the popular phrase "Think Globally, Act Locally" in environmental protection has been widely discussed around the world. Recently, your country has adopted again to demonstrate the importance of implementing land climate change and mitigation strategies.
This approach has already been applied to cities, with several schemes being launched. In which minimum carbon generation targets have been set by them. The largest global alliance on climate change, the Global Covenant of Mayors (GCoM) has set targets for more than 10,000 cities and local governments to reduce emissions and green the earth by 2030.
Most of the countries and the government have also failed to stop the climate change events. But no matter how big the problem is, we have the solution, even if the result is a little late, but if we try, we will reach success. So there is a solution to this problem. We all have to start green mission together. Planting more and more trees, as trees purify the air, increase biodiversity and maintain soil fertility and also save energy. And avoid the use of vehicles to get closer, if possible and if convenient, grow vegetables at home, reduce the use of appliances like AC, cooler, and produce clean and renewable energy, including finding new energy sources and Reducing carbon dioxide emissions to net zero By using solar and more efficient appliances (eg LED lights, innovative shower systems) we can reduce both energy and water consumption.
Now that the situation is improving in many countries, the use of renewable energy is increasing as technology improves. And people are starting to move away from fossil fuels. In some parts of the world, solar energy now provides the cheapest electricity in history. Because solar panels can be installed everywhere, from windows to road surfaces, that means they can be integrated almost anywhere and don't require large-scale land use.
But still to achieve this 100% some global solutions and international cooperation are much needed. We also need to encourage others to make a difference. Until we have clean air, sufficient water, fertile soil, clean food, regular monsoons in the near future, man's fight against climate crisis will continue.
