The year 2023 is over and 2024 has already started. In the year 2023 you must have seen many astronomical events and if you haven't seen them then by the end of this year 2024 there will be many events that you will be able to see. Many such astronomical events like various meteor showers, planets, comets will be seen in this year. With binoculars, telescopes, or even the naked eye, you can observe various celestial phenomena. Right now I am talking about the phenomenon that is going to appear in India.

1). Superlative Saturn : If any planet is liked by all the people the most, it is Saturn. A ringed planet will be closest to Earth and its foreground will be fully illuminated by the Sun. This incident is going to happen on July 24 and September 8. Saturn will be brighter than any other time of the year and will be visible throughout the night.

Apart from Saturn, its moons will also be seen. With a medium or large telescope you can see Saturn's rings and some of its bright moons. This is an astronomical event in which Saturn, Earth, and the Sun will all come in a straight line in the same direction. This incident happened last year as well. But this year Saturn is going to make a 2.5% bigger appearance than that.

Chances are that the sky will be clear that night and even the moonlight will not be a hindrance. This phenomenon will be seen in the western direction from the eastern direction of the night to the morning. This phenomenon is also called Saturn at opposition.

2). Comet C/2023 - A3 : The brightest comet of this year is C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS). Which was first discovered on 9 January 2023. Which was seen around Jupiter. But it is going to pass very close to the earth in the month of September in 2024. You will be able to see with the naked eye during the night of September 24.

This comet is moving at a speed of 3 lakh per hour in the solar system. Thus, it will be seen coming close to the earth in the month of August itself if you have a telescope. But in India on September 24, it will be seen at its peak brightness.

3). Full Super Moon: In this astronomical phenomenon, the size of the moon will be seen much larger than normal days. Which will be seen on March 25, 2024 i.e. the night of Dusty in India. The moon will be located on the opposite side of the earth as the sun and its moon

A part of will be published in full. This moon is also known by many other names such as Crow Moon, Crust Moon, Sap Moon and Lenten Moon.

4). Eclipses: This year there are two biggest solar eclipses and two lunar eclipses in the world. The first solar eclipse in the year 2024 is going to happen on April 8. Then it is 2 October. Apart from this, the first lunar eclipse is going to happen on March 25.

Then on September 18. But not all these eclipses will be seen in India. Because the solar eclipse will occur at night and the lunar eclipse will be visible only in Europe, North-East Asia, Australia, South Africa and South America.
